Lisa is a 40-something (she prefers not to specify) mother and substitute teacher at the local elementary school. Her two children, Tommy (13) and Kendal (9), attend school where she teaches, which occasionally causes problems, but nothing she can’t handle. Lisa loves all things food – from cooking to baking, to critiquing and experimenting – and has been known to travel to culinary trade shows for fun. Lisa’s husband, Tom, a software engineer, doesn’t know how to cook, so he appreciates his wife’s enthusiasm in the kitchen.
Eric is a 20-something studying the culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Boston. Originally from Arizona (he won’t say how he ended up in MA), Eric loves Mexican cuisine, especially anything that comes in a tortilla. Eric also loves music and movies, but he doesn’t watch TV, which came as a surprise to us. Eric occasionally contributes here, but he's usually pretty busy with his schoolwork and part-time job at a local restaurant. No, ladies, Eric does not have a girlfriend… Yet :-)
Gina is the Marketing Director at Maria and Ricardo’s Tortilla Factory. She supplies Lisa (and occasionally Eric) with Maria and Ricardo’s tortillas, so that Lisa can keep coming out with fresh, innovative tortilla and wrap recipes you can replicate at home. Gina likes shopping, socializing, and a good day at the spa, but hates getting her nails done. Her friends think that she works too much, but her boyfriend doesn’t!
